PROVIDED A CLEAR PLAN FOR GETTING OUR CHILDREN BACK TO SCHOOL 5 FULL DAYS THIS FALL UNDER THE CURRENT GUIDELINES!
We have talked to numerous community members who have given up on this year and have tried to convince themselves that our kids will be fine. They look to next year with confidence that our children will all be back in school full time. The district has said it is planning to bring everyone back to school for five full days of in-person learning in the fall. For those of us who have asked questions and attended BOE meetings, we know that while the district has in fact said repeatedly that it is planning for full days of in-person learning, it has also repeatedly made clear that the plan to do so is based on the hope that current guidelines will change. Is the district planning to bring all students back to school for five full days of in-person learning (including lunch) in September under the current guidelines as issued by Governor Murphy and the CDC?

BR PARENTS FOR A PLAN FORWARD
While the CDC, WHO and AAP have stated that schools can reopen safely without all of its teachers being vaccinated, it is important to us that our teachers feel safe. We strongly support our teachers and are actively advocating for them to be prioritized for vaccinations. We have and will continue to contact our administration, local and state officials on their behalf. We also support a full virtual academy with designated virtual teachers for those families in need of such an option as well as a return to full in-person education for students and teachers.
